Tibetan rug making is a traditional craft that dates back hundreds of years. Rugs serve many purposes in daily life, from flooring and seating to wall decoration. Each piece has a unique story with details ranging from village life to mythical animals. Our village rugs are hand-knotted with Himalayan wool and dyed with all-natural vegetable dyes. Each rug is designed and produced by a weaving project that works to support the Tibetan refugees living in Nepal.

Nagarjuna Incense

Tibetan incense is hand-prepared with all-natural medicinal herbs. Nagarjuna has a mild, earthy aroma. It is great for creating a calm, relaxing environment and purifies the air.

About us

Welcome to Rinpo— a celebration of Himalayan heritage that transcends borders. Rinpo presents traditional craft and folk art alongside contemporary pieces highlighting Tibetan and indigenous cultures.

The path of our products is the path of many Tibetan refugees forced to leave their homelands since the middle of the 20th century. Since the colonization and occupation of our lands, Tibetans have fled primarily to Nepal and India.

My family has been sourcing handmade goods for over 30 years. We work directly with artisans, non-profits, and many other small family-owned businesses.
